Just a quick walk around showing off my hard work. Its taken a summer to get it to this point and almost everything is done. I still have double tough front axles to install and the front locker but that will wait till spring '09

  • this is very nice but it needs 33x12.50's, 31's just look odd.

  • @DubLegends

31's I had brand new from my first suzuki sidekick. I wanted 33's but couldn't justify such a big hit selling my new 31's as used. I'm glad though as with the 31's even with the 1.6L it just barely can hold 55-60. You can feel all the extra weight of the steel rims and heavy tires. The 235's let it run down the road just fine.

  • Amazing Samurai. I was wondering where you got that rear license plate bracket? My 88 Sami is still illegal. Next step is to fix the non-blinking turnsignals.

  • @JayBrowntown

Ebay. :^) Its not meant specifically for the samurai but works great!

  • hey spyder,, nice sammy bud 6.5:1 gears are awesome ... where did you get the chrome exterior plates that got the S marked on it check 5:49 ?? would you recommend the mighty kung mounts ?? thanks +++ video

The mighty kong is awesome. I've never had a problem myself but their are plenty of people that have broke their transfer case in the stock config. For the price its cheap insurance esecially when I didn't install the gearset into the case. It seemed like it might be tougher than the axles so I left that up to trailtough. Price was right.

  • the top is in great shape too

  • thats a nice build. does the high lift jack get rusty being out in the weather?

  • @spyder000069 One intelligent reply and of course it comes from the guy that posted the video. Very well said.

Not familiar with the diesel swap. The TV show Extreme4x4 on powerblock did a couple of episodes on it though including conversion to vegitable oil. You used to be able to purchase the episodes in download form for a buck.

  • @mihskb

Its chrome steel. Was on it when I bought it and I am thinking its a factory add on. Its adhesive backed.

  • @MrNxjohn

CD can be inserted fine. The angle of the pic makes it look that way but all works as its suppose to.

  • @4evermetal85

A trail took one of them away. $100 to replace it. If I were to do it again I would have made a quick release system for them. They are necessary to be legal to drive on the road but they impare vision and are a liability on the trail.
