Social Justice and Rerum Novarum used for the Redistribution of Wealth

Are 'Catholic social teachings' something new. I certainly cannot locate this in old theology anywhere. Has progressive movement just perverted the Catholic denomination to suit the needs of a Marxists agenda? The progressives got a grasp on Catholicism in the late 1800's The Catholic Church was ordained with this Marxist philosophy in 1891. "Promotion of human dignity through just distribution of wealth." ~ Pope Leo XIII May 15, 1891. This is about year after the progressive movement took hold in the United States. This school of thought came from a publication called Rerum Novarum. It is often referenced today in the move to a new world order

@artsychic2000 If you spent as much time learning about an institution which has done so much good in the world as you do denigrating It and finding conspiracies, you would see how the Catholic Church is the only Christian Church which can trace its pedigree directly from St. Peter, and the only one which consistently and uniformly assails abortion, homosexual marriage, and - yes - economic greed. The myriad Lutheran and other non-Catholic Churches cannot all agree on these things

@artsychic2000 How you can make the leap of logic that the Pope's call for "A supranational Institution, the expression of a 'community of nations'", to the Catholic Church controlling such an institution is beyond reasonable and responsible belief. Further, do you really believe that the Pope is "calling the shots" in the Middle East, when in fact he actually apologized for misspeaking once about Islam?

He controls the jesuits who have infiltrated government, education, medical, scientific and social programs in order to create their plan for total global control. Do look up "vatican wants to lay it's hands on Jerusalem" even the holy sites. The very institution that murdered Jesus wants to rule from Jerusalem. They do nothing without papal approval. You think the wars in the middle east are for spreading democracy? Where does it say in Rerum Novarum that the Roman Catholic Church somehow, in some way is espousing a centralized economic system of which it is in control. It's very convenient to write that my Church is doing this stealthily and in darkness, as this is unprovable.

@MrRrully We simply have to look behind the exoteric doctrine that the papacy purports. The truth lies behind the scenes and this is what Dr. Veith and others are exposing. It's not always easy to digest but truth seldom is. Most of the Christian world is worshiping in spiritual darkness through Lucifer's infiltration into Christianity via the papal hierarchy (2 Thes. 2:1-12). As Jesus said when about to explain end-time events in Matthew 24, "Take heed that no man deceives you".

@MrRrully It's true that those with means should help those in need.What's important to understand is this should be a fruit of our relationship with Jesus & not a means to a relationship with Him. The popes aren't calling for spiritual purity as Jesus did. They're setting up a new world order so they can be back in visible control as they were prior to 1798 so they can direct all worship at themselves. This will honor Lucifer and not the Creator God and it's what the Bible warns of.
