  • Thank you. The movie is very moving, definately you should see it one day.

  • What is the name of this song?

  • It's called Tragedy by Brandi Carlile.

  • I think I can understand what Hillary feels...

It's really sad, both stories, but I had learnt lot from them..

Luck with your piano studies! I'm pianist too, and cellist!

  • ...Where was Daniel Barenboim, during the time of the "familar" affair...?

  • you did a wonderful job!!! obviously, as a cellist, I'm going to go with Cello version... but seriously, either way your video is fabulous.

  • This is a great video, set to an amazing song by a real, genuine artist (Brandi Carlisle, who I have had the pleasure of meeting and performing with). And what a splendid idea, to use the same song, but the cello version for Jackie's part. Well done! I also read the book, and wish I had done one or the other, but not both. To my mind, they are completely different stories, and I cannot get the factual mistakes of the movie out of my head. The book is incredible and thorough, almost to a fault.

  • Well...I prefer the austin cello version. It's much more tragic (haha), I think, but the guitar version has an amazing harmony that the cello version is missing. I've never seen this movie. It looks good:)

  • @koniczynkaL to quote Sir Thomas Beecham (I think) to an orchestral cellist: "Madam, you have between your legs the most magnificent instrument in the world, and all you can do is scratch it" :)

  • This is an awesome movie. So sad. Anything Ms. Watkins is in is good!

  • I kind of like Jackie's POV compared to Hilary's. As a musician and cellist myself, you get to a certain point where you just can't take it anymore--that you wish your life was normal. I'm sure that when Jackie was at the height of her career, she reached a certain breakdown. Jackie didn't like traveling or being away from home.

  • do you think jackeline du pre was that selfish??

at the beggining it seems that hilary is the one jelauos about her sister

i still feel sad and sick when i think about jakcies's desires

and i like more the second version

  • I was waiting for the Secretary of State to show up and just no go. What happened? And the other lady was she not married to the oil tanker guy?
