  • i do not think #8 would be answered in the movie

  • @zenlord22 yea. we discussed this. if no asari (liara) romance, then no need to explain #8.

  • id like it to be the first contact war cause that would allow them more freedom. + that way would not upset any video gamer's cause it would not damage the games... and paint a backstory of the entire mass effect universe.

  • @bouldy2 Valid point.

  • Mass Effect is a series that has garnered too much worship and critical acclaim to just end after Mass Effect 3. So my belief is there will be another Mass Effect game in the future. I support a Prequel, why not the First Contact War? I think it was simply too short. The war was over one planet, The Turians occupied it, Humans reclaimed it, Both sides rallied their fleets but the Council intervened and stopped it. I think a Prequel should introduce something new entirely.

  • If this actually came out, I bet all of the chavs who haven't played the game would get confused.

  • Mmm not sure prequel would be better I think

  • @simongenius1 Not in the case of Mass Effect 1. There's a lot more conversation and exposition in that. I agree with you on how they would tell the story on each planet, though.

  • @Doofe2012 Firstly, games have waaay more action than a movie. Corridor after corridor of baddies that take like hours to kill through. Secondly, i'm not saying cutting down on the action, because there definitely need to be more than 3 high octane action scenes. However, each planet (e.g. Elysium) may need more than just 1 action sequence to tell the whole story on that planet. So each planet ends up having 2-3 battle scenes on it. Then you get 6-9 gunfights, each 4-5 min.

  • @simongenius1 While I somewhat agree with you, you have to remember it's Legendary Pictures doing the film, and most of their movies are the typical summer action blockbuster deal. While the game may have been 40% or less action, the film can't be that way if the producers want it to be commercially successful.
