@baul104 thats great. Why fans? Why? What do FAAANS accomplish? Atleast with vacuums you get results and satisfaction. :l

@kagome122885 and the only good modern day brand is Vornado. Their premium models are still made in USA.

The early braced bladed fans were decent and they did blow a decent amount of air. The modern day (2007-2008) braced bladed box fans were "Made in China" junk. They actually reduced the fins on the modern day bracers and thats why their airflow is so bad.

Does America even still make box fans, with Lakewood gone down the drain, taking the P-25 with it?

@LNERMallard: Mmm, not anymore. They are most likely manufactured in China... They're first manufactured in China and then they're shipped to the U.S. to be assembled. You mayt even see the label that says, "Made in the USA." However, just because the label says "Made in the USA" doesn't mean that is TRULY made there. Some parts including the motor itself are made in China.

I have my own video of one of these now. Check it out. I tell everyone on this video my thoughts of these fans. And you're right. They are junk.

Absolutely. I--one time--even saw EmersonCollie's video on "Death to a cheap box fan." It just goes to show you that China-made box fans are not worth keeping or saving--even if they're on the curb for pickup...
