Gekirindan / 逆鱗弾 All Stage Clear part I

A couple of Toaplan guys were involved in making this game. Lots of Toaplan references as a result. I played on the 2p side to keep the rank down and I don't really get creative with the weapons but if you guys want to see the other types of ships, let me know.

Love this game. At first it was the soundtrack that got me hooked but everything about it is so cool. And I didn't knew about the Toaplan thing. Gekirindan rules.

Also the Napalm subweapon is a Truxton reference (it's in Truxton II and it has skull explosions)

I've played and beaten this game in "Taito Legends" for the PS2. This game has great music. The funny thing about this game is... you're time traveling... starting in 3175! I first thought I'd be taking on dinosaurs, the Vietnam War planes, or Desert Storm. Even includes a fantasy 1999. Only two years that have already happened are featured in this game (though this is a 1995 game). Very interesting game. Can be tedious and unfair at times, though.

Red spaceship = Truxton. Thats the only one with the skull special attack and it has got a svery similar alternative shot to truxtons blue lightning shot.
