@chokonudemailno, he doesn't do much solos on the bbc tapes, he has some, but if you have the complete bbc tapes george#s amount of solos dwarfes johns, and john only played solos in the early cover days, only beatles song he played solo on live was during you can't do that.
George did most of the solos during their hamburg era days, not without a reason was he their lead guitarist from 58 onwards, but during the 8 hours a night time john also played some solos.
but george is, as always, way better than john on the guitar, nothing against johnny he#s great, but no match for georgie boy.
