If you put him on a big pair pre then it is a really bad play not to re-re-raise preflop.
If he has QQ and the King flops you probably aren't going to win much more from him, but if you re-re-raise pre then you will win all of his money and avoid difficult decisions post flop.
I'm aware that he hit a set of kings but if you get all of your money in pre AA vs KK you should be happy no matter what the result is.
