He says "Dainobotto gundan (ダイノボット軍団)" which means "Dinobot army".
Gundam in Japanese is pronounced "Gandamu (ガンダム)".

I may have been hearing things but in the Dinobot/Devastator commercial did they call them "Dinobot Gundam?"

Umm...Toei animated both the commercials and the cartoon series, with only one or 2 being animated by Akom. The early ones are Japanese versions of the US commercials
