Yep, just a small white paper bag inflated and pinned to a wall or tree.

That house fly deterrent sounds a bit suspect. Is there any chanting involved as well? ; )

Kidding aside, I suppose it's worth a try. Only costs a few pennies, and you never know!
(might attract wasps, though).

I did a bit of googling and some people swear by it. I'll have to give it a go at the weekend. So far I've not had any wasps inside the house or seen any in my garden. I think my parents must have a nest close by.

Thanks Mr C. I've had to modify my bicycle route due to a wasp nest. I drive past it every day in the car and make sure I keep the windows closed.

I'll have to dig my flamer thrower out. My dad reckons they get drunk on fruit this time of year and it sends them crazy.

Yellow Jackets are the worst of the wasps. They are just plain mean. Plus they will nest just about anywhere, including in the dirt.

Mowing over a yellow jacket nest is not an experience you want to have.

I know Fud. I got stung by one descending a mountain in North Carolina. My leg blew up double the size and it itched for days after. Very nasty indeed.
