Libya War Zone: Video of gunfights, shelling by Gaddafi forces

Libya's opposition battled for military and diplomatic advantage against Moammar Gadhafi's regime on Thursday, winning official recognition from France and hitting government forces with heavy weapons on the road to the capital. France became the first country to formally recognise the rebels' newly created Interim Governing Council, saying it planned to exchange ambassadors after President Nicolas Sarkozy met with two representatives of the group based in the eastern Libyan city of Benghazi.

@bronxboyXXX finally someone is talking sense about the world politics..... but the problem is how can we make the changes necessary for Africa to reclaim it's rightful place? I know Gaddafi was working towards that, except he wanted Tripoli to be the capital of AU, which in my own opinion is not a bad idea, given he's ready to finance most of the necessities to make that happen.

on the other hand the African leaders, puppets of the west couldn't comprehend the final goal of Gaddafi.

3: AMF:African Monetary Fund - No Central Bank, own currency - Bank of Investment: To control most investments in Africa

5: Gaddafi was returning to a gold standard.

6: Libya sits on Africa's largest oil and natural gas reserves.

7: A few weeks before Libya was invaded, Gaddafi had decided to sell his oil to only Russia, China and India which USA did not like.

@Theork21 there were battles, offensives, campaigns, organized belligerents, and every other aspect of a civil war. it has every right to be called a civil war. this video didnt really show the organized fighting, but look up "battle for galaa", its a long series of videos showing the small battle of galaa in the nafusa mountains campaign, and it looks more like war

@funkythingsable gaddafi's goal was to united africa, yes, but he wanted it under his green book philosophy, which was to rule africa under islamic socialism. the AU needs to have more unity, but not under something like the green book
