  • Please look at the video titled: Yale New Haven Hospital "A Tribute to Dr. Susan Spencer". It is great. Doctor Spencer was the first doctor at Yale to speak to me, explain and ask if I would be willing to do the tests to see if I was a candidate for the surgery. I truly thank her, Doctor Dennis Spencer, Doctor Kenneth Vives and everyone who gave me the tests and the entire staff at Yale. Doctor Susan Spencer will be missed by so many.

  • Here, in America unless told different you wait three months. You get levels tested, etc and you are OK, you drive. The law in every state is different.

  • Only a 3 month wait. I have to wait a year, The gaps between my seizures are normally about 3 months.

  • please give me more detail

  • Great job! You got the message across loud and clear!

  • Thank you very much!

  • rennaissance - you're a funny dude.

thanks for brightening this place up.

(i find the term i little irritating too, but screw it. most people are clueless about epilepsy, just as i am about a zillion other "ictics")

  • YAY BRIGHT LIGHTS

  • I'm from the UK so maybe the laws are different. I have Complex Partial Seizures and I have to go a year without anything happening, so everytime I have some sort of absence or fit (normally once every 3 months) I have to renew my wait for coming off my meds and starting to drive.

But on this video the guy said most people only have to wait 3 months.

  • if you have more then one seizure you are an epileptic -you have epilepsy
