How can I get in touch with the pilot?
I'm a PG/PPG pilot and I just want to start Acro

Reflex is the best way to go, PARAMANIA is the only way to go... Nice SAT with low breakout...

That is only when you get them to collapse... The only way you can get them to collapse is by hanging your entire weight on one A risers, which is busy speeding up one side of the wing only, and when it does finally collapse of course it going to be quite violent! A very unnatural way to get a collapse. (but the only way certification knows, with normal paragliders)
In all honesty it is quite rare that we hear of pilots getting large weather induced collapses while on full reflex!

True collapses can be more violent when they occur due to the reflex profile but also due to the much higher speeds and wing loading in paramotoring. Generally you will notice how cleanly a reflex wing cuts through the air and how little attention they require in the air! For motoring they are beautiful!

I have a paramania action (very similar) and free flying it is ok with the trimmers fully down (slow) This sink rate is honestly poor but mostly doesnt really matter and it is ultra fast!!! I suspect on a revolution you might be ok but it will never be ideal for free flying.

Thanks for the reply pascyy, and I have already looked and read everything on that site at least once...so far Im looking at buying a Revolution from them but am a bit concerned about its soaring/free flight ability if any.
Will I be able to do any free flight with it or is it just for motoring-i'm not looking to do cross country paragliding, just maybe some ridge soaring or occasional thermalling a couple times a year.

So really pilots should choose a reflex type wing from the most experienced designer or manufacturer!
And above all you should always take it for a test fly before you buy!

Or uses the excuse that it is "just like the other top Reflex wing".. Doesn't mean that is super stable or resistant to collapses...
In fact it could be possible that one day some un-experienced designer releases a bad Reflex wing or a poor copy that doesn't work well... This could be very dangerous!
(especially as there is valid certification for Reflex wings at the moment)

A word of warning.... Just because a manufacturer or sales man, says a wing has Reflex OR semi-Reflex or a bit Reflex...
