In 2009, Andrea Bocelli and David Foster collaborated to produce a Christmas album with a number of other music legends. This is "Angels We Have Heard on High" with choir and orchestra.

This YouTube version was ripped and uploaded directly from the raw DVD VOB files, which means quality should be higher than other YouTube versions.

You can get the album from any of the links below:

  • The language is Latin. Certainly not a dead language here!

  • I hear angels singing every time I hear this great voice. Such passion and control. I just about drove off the road the first time I heard him reach that ending note. Magnificent!

  • @StephenB58 Blind people can read, Ever heard of braile?? He can listen to them on his music system, Why some of us can even type........

  • rianjs: I want to thank you for uploading this video. You helped make this past Christmas, Christma 2011, one of the two most memorable Christmases I have ever had. I'll be 60 in August. I have always loved this song, but never knew the title. I just knew Gloria In Excelsis Deo. I've loved it since I was little; but didn't know the name, and didn't have sense enough to ask anyone. I'm a man. This was the first song we sang in church this past Christmas. Thank you for uploading this song.

  • You can tell right at the end when he thanks the audience; that he knows he nailed it. And the audience's applause is their way of thanking him, the orchestra, and the choir for such an incredible performance.

  • I can't understand why anyone would not like this version. It is one of the two best versions of this beautiful song, on Youtube. The other version is of Andrea Bocelli singing this song in Spanish. No other singers come anywhere close to Andrea Bocelli singing this song.

  • Yes Andrea might be blind, but that one person is certainly deaf!

  • @ediboyzee: AMEN!!

  • i just heard an angel singing

  • Andrea Bocelli sei grande bravissimo.

  • What kind of memory does this wonderful singer have? I mean, he can't see to read; he's blind. How many songs does he have stored in his head?

  • beautiful...I have heard this hymn since I was in the womb--born Catholic only 5 days after Christmas, was in children's choir--this has always been my favorite...truly sublimely sung
