Good, clean internet censorship? Help get this advert on the air and in the air - on every Qantas flight in the country during the next sitting week of Parliament.

The Government's test trials on internet censorship are about to end, the results are nearly in and they're looking to announce their plans to filter all internet activity.

We know exactly where every politician will be - on a Qantas flight to Canberra as Parliament resumes. Your contribution will allow us to show this ad directly to them, and their staff, making it an issue they can't avoid.

  • Why is the Australian government so retarded? They're like hillbillies with prejudice towards logic.

  • I'm sure we all agree, self-regulating and community-based content policing serves our interests better than YouTube-controlled censorship that uses communist-Chinese style filters and punishes users at its sole discretion.

Let's face it, would you rather police yourselves on YouTube or hand over your freedom to a corporation to control all that you say & do?

Please exercise your right to self-regulate and help clean up inappropriate content on YouTube.

Police yourselves or THEY WILL POLICE YOU!

  • theinternetshouldbeillegal [dot] com

    oooooh...you touched my ta-la-la.

  • @Virginityrocks because it's full of corrupt conservatards

  • theyyy took our jobs !!!

  • You know the best thing about all this?

    We won!

Half the Liberal cabinet walked out on it when it came to the final vote, and we won't see hide nor hair of this debate hopefully for some 20 years or so.

Before that milestone though I had to wonder what it was really going to mean for us, now, I'm a proud member of the furry community, so I felt really strongly on this subject. What would it have meant for us? As if we don't get enough shit already, this would have been a horrific step back.

  • Censorship can't be all bad. I would like to see the mechanism extended to prevent scammers and blackhat operators from taking advantage of the unsuspecting Australian internet user. Anyone who commits a internet crime ought to be tracked and prosecuted.

  • @Insoniax2 We are too fat and lazy. Much easier to riot from the safety of our homes, across the anonymity and safety of the internet...oh wait...
