Oh God, make it stop!! No dude, just because it doesn't say "exposed" on the film doesn't mean that it's blank! It could be PARTIALLY exposed. Tell me, have you EVER shot a roll of Super-8 in your life? I get my Super-8 developed for $12-$15 a roll, by the way, and standard 8mm film did NOT come in cartridges. And did you REALLY suggest to somebody interested in Super-8 to get the iPhone app? I am in complete disbelief. At least you got the reel sizes correct...

Man, so many WRONG "facts" in just the first minute alone, I couldn't watch the rest. What is this nonsense about the film cartridge having to be "all used up" or the camera won't eject it? Horse puckey! Only two places to send undeveloped 8mm film? More nonsense! Do some friggin research dude!

In your opinion, which camera is good for beginners?

Does the 8mm camera only hold 25 foot rolls? Do they sell 400ft rolls or do you have to splice multiple 25 ft rolls?
If you are wanting just the effect of 8mm film, I'd honestly...get the app '8mm' on the iphone, it's amazing!

Older regular 8 film cartridges were double width of Super 8, you had to use one 25ft side and then flip over and use the other. Once used up, you'd send off to be developed and it was split down the middle and spliced together to make a 50ft roll. 400ft reels are basically 8 x the 25/50ft cartridges.
