Our 2010 summer vacation was paddling the Kopka River in Wabakimi Provincial Park in northwestern Ontario. For a week, we canoed the river and lakes, and made the tough portages, many of which were unexpectedly dangerous. Oh, but the beauty and solitude of this remote destination was out of this world. Fishing for Walleye and Northern Pike was a thrill. Our two Labrador Retrievers were happy in their wet element. We will return, oh great Wabakimi, only next time it will be for much longer! Our family is thankful to have had the opportunity to experience such a wild and awesome place.
Such beautiful nature.
Thanks for this great video.
