My entry for the First Annual Oakridge Film Festival -- Best of Show! I filmed myself painting a wolf in five layers (organs, skeleton, muscle, skin, and fur) and then sped it up. The music is me on the piano, playing my extended arrangement of "L'Orage." ("L'Orage" is French for "The Storm," which is why the subtitles and title of my film are in French. "Le Loup" means "The Wolf.")

  • This is really really awesome. I got a peek at this thanks to Mr. Long. A day or two after, I also showed it to one of my favorite (and talented) art students here. She loved every minute of it.

The entire piece: the content of the painting... the paired music selection... the filming strategy... all combine to make a best case scenario for this type of media (YouTube).

    Love it.

  • Wow, thank you for the wonderful comments! I'm glad you liked it!
