K1 Heros

To avoid confusion, this is an MMA rules fight, not a kickboxing fight, the rules were similar to Pride rules. The history of K1 doing MMA is below.

K-1 has had MMA fights for a while; first they would hold one or two MMA fights during a regular kickboxing card, then they started having them on their NYE card called "dynamite" where it was about half and half MMA/KB. They still do this.

Next was K1 Romanex a one time show of only MMA, then Hero's which was also only or at least mostly MMA, there were 8 regular Hero's shows, and some in Lithuania and Korea.

Now there is DREAMS which isn't called K1, but owned by the same people.

Genki's such a good guy, he just smiled and behaved like a good sportsman, but I do blame the referee for stopping the match too soon, both fighters could have done more.
