Le titre de votre page est la première chose que voit un internaute de votre site. C'est un élement important pour votre référencement qui influence directement le taux de
clic depuis les pages de résulats de Google.

Wow I learned alot from watching your videos, I was focuosing on On meta tag keywords instead of description. I did my research from your videos and you helped me sparked a different descrition I can use in my product that alot of people look for in the product. also no competition on the keyword and its get 14000 view monthly so that should help me get ranked finally. I was getting about 20 views a day hopefully get at least 80 more :)

OK, but I've heard that some methods for increasing clickthroughs (non-deceptive) through title/description tag content can reduce rankings. E.g.:
1 the word 'click here' in title or descr.
2 special characters like √ in title (this can draw the eye a bit more as it's a less common character)
Neither is deceptive, both increase clicks - are both completely OK and preserve ranking?

Nice video, thanks :-). Must say, your tweets are also very helpful. I'm @hendricius.
How do you change the snippet/description that Google shows? Is it just a meta tag with description?

The meta description tag is one source that we may use for your snippet, and the title often comes directly from the page's title tag. For more info, search our Help Center for [Changing your site's title and description in search results]. You can find a link to the Help Center on Webmaster Central.
