  • Buddhism may have its crazy notions of reincarnation/rebirth and karma...but if you apply them to the current and possibly/probably only life its a very nice way to live, basically each moment your mind is reborn based on previous mindsets (rebirth concept) and karma is basically your outlook(positive/negative) ..so old geezer, with whatever few years you have left in this life, stop being bitter, cheer up, stay positive and try to smile a little more. Life is too short, be happy.

  • The first half of what you wrote made sense; the second half was a totally gratuitous non sequitur.

  • lol, stop making things up weird old dude, now I feel like posting a video 'insanity on youtube', can i borrow your camera? please old dude :)

  • Have you an argument to make or were you never able to grow out of your infantile state?

  • Thanks.. for awhile I thought it was just me that thought that buddhism was a farce.. new sun here ;-)

  • Well, Buddhism itself isn't a farce, but that doesn't mean there aren't farcical things within its various traditions.

  • Many or most Buddhists don't follow the Dalai Lama.

  • Only Tibetan Buddhism is like that. Go to Japan, China, Taiwan. They'll say they don't have religion, dont believe in reincarnation & are atheist. Buddhism is very intermixed with the culture. I don't agree with it T-Buddism. But I agree with the Zen Buddhism & just plain Buddhism. Tibetan Buddhism is Buddhism with kept tradition & beliefs of Hinduism. Its like a person calling themselves a christian-Buddhist. Buddha didnt believe stuff he couldnt explain. They contradicts themselves.

  • oh boy. you simply go on attacking the Dalai Lama, talking about the his harmful atitude... but... you are the one propagating hate. old fool.

  • @buddhafollower "can you tell me one of his main faults?"

Re Osho. Here are a couple: 1. I once read a lengthy teaching of his which taught people not think for themselves because he claimed that *he* was their personal conscience! That is a totally false teaching and the exact opposite of the truth.

    2. His second-in-charge was a person named "Sheila", who was, in my opinion, a very low-grade character. No wise person would be associated with such people.

  • @KevinSolway can you tell me one of his main faults?

  • @buddhafollower Osho is very interesting, but has a great many faults too - many serious faults.

  • Buddhism is also a mental trap as all other "belief" systems are. So the Dali Lama is trapped in the Karma -idea. He cannot trop it, otherwise a big part of the buddhist teachings would fall apart. One could kill living beings without fear of being reborn as a sheep. So the Dalai Lama has to go on teaching the law of Karma even if there is no real proof of it. Christians have to believe in the resurection of Christ without any proof of it.

  • What are your views on soto-zen Buddhism and Shintoism?

  • So I watched your video: first, you cannot put the Dalai Lama and Dorje Shugden on the same level, the latter being a protector (please find info about this) and people practicing this just don't know what they're doing - it can be dangerous. Secondly, DL didn't invent buddhism and the notion of reincarnation which are widely accepted in the east,(and within hinduism). So what he is saying about the dogs are things people have heard since centurys and milleniums. So you have to have perspective
