@IrisHoney13 I also was adopted with a closed adoption. The agency found my birth mother after I was able to seek her out. She would not contact me because it would bring shame on her husband and family, so I have no access to my 6 hallf brothers and sisters and my biological father does not know I exist, how messed up is that. Did you seek out your biological parents?

@IrisHoney13 Thanks for commenting! Yes, it can be very frustrating not having your biological parents' names. I am doing a foreign exchange in China for a year, and I'm working on getting my visa. So far, it's been a pain in the butt because I technically don't have a US birth certificate. I have adoption papers and abandonment papers, but they're in Chinese, so I have to send the originals AND the translation!

Very good work, Jaede! I liked your use of various media in your presentation; your argument is persuasive.

Good job. I am actually doing a project myself on adoption and why i feel the records should be open, at least for medical. If you don't mind, I might use your project as part of it if that is ok. Good job. 5/5

it does suck having a close adoption record. It's kinda of like going thru life blindly

@PiousPrincess I definitely agree. However, I was adopted in China, so there is no record at all for me.
