@seanamico Again your not providing any proof...You are taking the same Salman story everyone knows and taking the parts that fit with what you want to express and rejecting the rest as "made up crap". If he had no intention of finding the prophet as you say he would hav never left syria. he was a christian remember? Y leav?. For your info my UNCLE has a 7th century copy of a museum copy and i read it myself for this same very reason and no suprise...it was as i kno it letter for letter. And yes Quran WAS written in the time of Muhammad (May peace and blessings be upon him), he had scribes remember? Even Umars conversion story proves the Quran was written down even in its early stages.

@seanamico Salaman was sold into slavery but his intention the whole time was to find the Prophet foretold in the scriptures. Salman became a christian when he fled persia to Syria and there is where he learned of a expected prophet appearing in "The land of palm trees" which was medina. It just so happened that he ended up in medina anyway as a slave. By this time the majority of the Quran was already written so that debunks your argument that Salman had anything to do with its origins.

@seanamico You want proof we have the original Quran? thats the weakest argument. The proof is in museums in Arabia, Syria, Turkey and many other places. The one in Tashkent, Uzbekistan still has Uthmans blood on it. As a matter of fact my uncle has a copy of the old uthman, Quran written in the kufic script dated from the 7th century and i've read it myself. Thats really a weak argument. I can read arabic all praises to Allah.

@seanamico Salman came to medina searching for the prophet that was prophesized in christian scriptures. So no what you say about Salman are not facts. It is your own ideas. please bring me facts and prove me wrong about athiests. As it stand not one athiest has ever brought a concrete fact or proof of anything.

@seanamico I would accept Written historical proof from ancient greeks who were actually alive during those times rather that some "estimates" from a bunch of ppl who are alive today. As would any right minded man or woman. And Slaman al Farsi arrived in medina WAAAAY after Muhammad (May peace and blessings be upon him) had declared himself a prophet. 13 years to be exact. Most of the Quran was already revealed at that time. Learn before you talk.
