The mining town of La Oroya in Peru, home to some 30,000 people, is controlled by Doe Run Peru which runs a metal processing facility there that causes extreme environmental distruction.
People & Power follows the battle local townspeople, health professionals and environmentalists are waging to get La Oroya cleaned up, demanding action from the company and the government.

I don't think the point of the video is to determine who was "right" in the conflict, but without a doubt demonstrates that what happened in the footage was wrong.

Why would you want to defend ethnic cleansing?

This is not different than CNN or BBC having someone talk about the war in Iraq or Middle East. If you would have a chance to see Sonja Biserko talk in her language you would know what I mean. She has no idea what is going on. CLAP CLAP you got some ppl to talk about only from one side... No one asks about the other victems in the war, and who started it all.
