I remember reading an account of a practice session at a race track where a commenter mentions that McQueen was running some laps and came thundering into the pit area with a big downshift bravado routine, whereupon someone made the remark, "bush league". haha

@kirkconway Ok, how many other cars have the racing heritage that Ferrari has? They are hand made works of art. You wont find a mustang in an art museum but you can find a Ferrari in an art museum because they are works of art. They are rare. Its not like a production car where thet make 1000s of them. You need to quit making stupid comments and get a life.
@kirkconway Big deal ? Steve Mcqueen ? The man is a legend. He defined much of what we have come to understand re modern day acting by many pretenders and is an iconic figure, whose movies still stand true today.
I would like to know what the restorer used for paint. My Ferrari is a later model, but it is the same color. The original paint was a nitrocellulose lacquer with a special pigment. As far as I know, the paint is no longer available. Some asshole broke into my garage and vandalized my car, and now it needs to be repainted. The asshole, by the way, is sitting in San Quentin, and I hope he is someone's bitch.
Wow, thanks for showing so little of the car!
