About TEDx, x=independently organize event
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-
organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep

When the illusion of capitalism, money imagined as debt was suggestedin 1996, it was the beginning of people-centered economics:
"Economics, and indeed human civilization, can only be measured and calibrated in terms of human beings. Everything in economics has to be adjusted for people, first, and abandoning the illusory numerical analyses that inevitably put numbers ahead of people, capitalism ahead of democracy, and degradation ahead of compassion."

@garvic7 what kind of actionable information are you looking for? change a lightbulb, smile to strangers, volunteer in africa, eat less meat, don't shit where you sleep... ?
this guy is sharing his ideas, which are incredibly relevant to moving us all forward... and I find your criticism ironic because it does not have any action items itself... you're justing spitting blind catharsis for something you don't care to understand.
where do you find your moral virtues if you don't mind me asking?

Great feel-good Buzz, but once pants zipped-up -- no actionable information.
Branding hot air for personal profit to a predominantly white, spoiled, over-educated, underemployed, middle class that is desperate for spiritual sustenance that converts intellectual and moral vanities -- into virtues, yet require little in the way of commitment or accountability.
An opiate for the self-absorbed.
(and pretty clever spiritual marketing for a high school drop-out -- gotta admit :)

TEDx was awesome. I really enjoyed Bill's talk. He's doing great work at WeForest.
To see Bill's video that was edited out of the above video, you can go here:
