dude the guiteau is sooo amazing!
i just want to eat him up!
except for the fact that hes a lunatic with a gun

What's really uncanny about this Guiteau is his voice - the actor looks about 16, but he has the ability to sound like he's in his early 70s! Truthfully, I like his voice far better than the '04 Broadway Guiteau.

Easily one of the (if not THE) best performances of this song I've seen on here! Not only are they in tune (which already puts this above the majority of vids), they're all in character, too! I love that the same little choreography looks different on each of them because they are interpreting it through their character!

Boy, the music director and vocal coach really slow down alot of the music to accomodate the actors. It is a difficult score as is all of Sondheim, however, artistic license and rights don't excuse manipulating the score. All in all, this is the best company I've seen on YouTube of this show. I was Booth in the Pa Premiere and we butchered the barber shop quartet in this number PLUS , the moves they make in the song are wonderful in this.

This was simply excapetional. Guiteau and Moore were brilliant and the coreography was great and comical in its simplicity (since this song is a barbershop quartet the coreography they used was perfect). I do think that Booth was out of tone during the chorus parts.

Great student production! Guiteau's voice was so good I was confused as to whether this was a professional troupe or not.

@amandakuchinski I thought it was cool. The whole show itself is postmodern, so to put it in front of a curtain makes it even more theatrical while simultaneously breaking the fourth wall.

haha oh shit i shot it :O haha :)

Is it just me or was Moore rushing a bit during her part?

Ok so out of all the versions of this song this is the best! this made me laugh soooo much
really outstanding cast. All 4 actors were impressive. Too bad the director chose to put this talent in front of a drawn red curtain. (????)

the way the show is actually set up is so that every other scene can possibly be in front of the curtain so that set changes can be made behind the curtain. Also, this was a student production, so we kind of had to work with what we had.
