Why not use the actual movie audio? The well timed heavy beat with the staff makes the piece more powerful imho.

Yes the film is absolutely a masterpice. The music is superb to the pictures. It a about us wearing our masks and how terrible it is to take it off.... and that someone always has to be sacrificed.

the music is by english composer jocelyn pook and called the masked ball . it has also been used for a youtube video on a tour of londons famous highgate cemetery if you click on my username and go to my videos it's the one that is the playing window in black & white . the music and the images on the cemetery version work perfectly .
