Hey Khalil, ... congrats on the amazing progress.
I see it was mentioned twice but I think the P90X Fitness Test deserves more emphasis in this discussion. For those who aren't aware, along with the P90X course comes a fitness test which determines whether or not you should 1st start with at least 1 round of P90. It involves things like how many pushups and pullups you can do. ie. If less than 10 pushups are challenging you'll most likely benefit more by first getting into basic shape with P90.

Great input on selecting what's right for each, me personally I'll def be starting with the lean since I have gotten way off track on my workouts (like since may)....lean here I come

Hi Khalil, thx for your informative and unpretentious, useful videos. this one's really useful. just ordering P90 with my wife, going to go through (hell) it together; we'll be watching your p90x before we move on to that if we're happy with p90.
oh, great singing voice (from one IT guy who sings, plays etc to another)

@Revolutionary36 just do p90x then do it again ahaha. or do p90x+

It seemed to me that you really had to be committed to power 90. With only basically 2 workouts, it's easy to get bored.
This may be an obvious question but does Power 90 build muscle. Yes, I know any workout you do helps build muscle with the proper diet but i want to know which one is heavily concentrated on helping you build more muscle. Is it both or one or the other?

@CaptZor Yes, Power 90 is a balanced approach to muscle building and cardio conditioning for people who need to lose a lot of weight, those who haven't worked out in years, etc. I built plenty of muscle and it helped prepare me for P90x.

I agree I am 17 days into the P90 program and I have lost weight, inches, and most important I feel ALOT better.depending on where I am at 90 days I could do another round or step up to P90X.Its a change of lifestyle so you have to commit to DIET and EXERCISE and it will work for you. I am 5'10" and was 230lbs now about 220lbs and it is melting off.PUSH PLAY

@pogiguy05 Great results! I keep telling people that almost ANY exercise program with a good solid foundation will work, not just P90x or Power 90. It's just that these programs take you step by step and have a great support system in place to help you. I looked for weeks at other products, tried doing my own exercise plan, etc., before I found Beachbody last April. They have something for everybody. Like you said, It comes down to whether people commit themselves or not.

More people should do Power 90 before P90x. It gives you a much better head start. I am just trying to decide if I should do the Power 90 Master Series now that I've completed Power 90 before P90x

@cypresscollectibles I agree, it does give you a head start on P90x. They even suggest it in the P90x manual if you can't pass the fit test.. I had considered doing the Power 90 Master Series, but didn't investigate it that much since I had already decided on P90x after Power 90. I do think I could've done Power 90 again, still gotten great results, and then moved on to P90x. How much more weight do you have to lose?
