Toastmaster speech 9 - "Persuade with Power"

Nearly there now ,the 9th speech of 10 from the Toastmaster Competent Communicator manual.

The objectives of the speech are:
1)to persuade listeners to adopt my viewpoint or ideas or take some action.
2)Appeal to the audiences interest
3)Use logic and emotion to support my position
4)Avoid using notes
Time 5 to 7 minutes - due to a bit a ad libbing I went to 7min.38secs. which would disqualify me in a competition !

The speech is called "Remember, remember the 27th of September" and is about Edinburgh Doors Open Day and me (of course!)
Got a little lost at one point but I really enjoyed this one despite only practising it over one day. I'm still a bit bouncy on my feet and have trouble "fixing my gaze" (as one evaluator put it).
