A brief look at how to knit a sock within a sock using double knitting. I cast on by casting each yarn on separately then moving the stitches around on the needle, so every other stitch goes with the outside sock yarn. I'm not quite sure how I will do the toes and heels yet.
I just casted on seperate needles, then slipped them onto a 3rd needle so the stitches alternated balls of yarn. Saddly my socks and I are no longer speaking, there was an incident and now they are in time out.
@spagetti568 I cast on the number of stitches for one sock on one needle then with a separate ball of yarn I cast on all of the stitches for the second sock. Then slip them onto the DPNs alternating which needle I slip off of.
could you please demonstrate how to cast on for these socks and do the first row
Thank you Lynn

@kmp10150 wait so you casted on two different needles enough stitches for two socks, for like a total number of stitches over 100?

@kmp10150 so say that I had a pattern for sock with 64 stitches for one sock, when I was done casting on would I have a total of 128 stitches?
