its funny you say that they dont deserve such a great player when the white sox are not even close to the kind of team the angels are and have not even half the fan support. Chi town belongs to the cubs and erstad had his best years for the angels and i am sure they will retire his number when he retires. The white sox are lucky to have him

Erstad is a very intense player. I wouldn't call that all-out, but it was just a routine single.
He hurt his arm in 2001 and tried to play through it, being the gamer that he is, and he had a horrible season. He hasn't been the same since. His defense has been incredible, including 1 in left, 1 in center, and 1 at first. I think he should have had another in 2005 but Teixeira got it.
I hope he can have a strong year next year, or if he doesn't just bow out and retire relatively painlessly.

Erstad is a gamer. This looked like a spring training game.
I don't know what the heck happened after his 355 season. I thought he was going to be a HOFer.

yeah he does. 2 at center, 1 at first. he also won the silver slugger award 2. I lov Erstie. :)

I kno. He's my favorite player of all time. I really miss not seeing him not playing 4 the angels. I'm lik his biggest fan.

yea im an angels fan, have been for years. Ersty has always been my fav. player. I was really upset and confused as to why they didnt resign him =\ he plays both center and 1st, and has a gold glove at each i think

he plays center for the sox now. he started center for his career then moved to 1st base because foot problems.
