stressors(even good things are considered stressors) can lead us back 2our addiction if not careful. Just don't want 2CU hurt after all the progress you've made.
In my experience skipping steps/ not FEELING the feelings can lead folks back to bottle, fridge, needle etc. give yourself time thats all I am trying to say, don't rush your recovery. I am sure I sound like an assh@!€ but I really am saying this w/love compassion &support in my heart

cute puppy is it a chihuahua? p.s great video ant

Having said I want to be supportive (see prev comment) I must say I worry that you are pushing yourself to hard 2fast. recovery is a long (& often painful) process & its not always pretty, happy & pleasant. I see you doing big life stuff (dealing w / family 'feuds', gettin a pet) kinda fast. Talk 2your sponsor (& shrink/ counselor whatever). oops 3parts I think sorry!

Ant, I want to preface this comment w/2 things, 1st this probably will have to be split into 2comments, because it only allows so many characters so be sure to read both. 2nd what I have to say is comming from a loving supportive place as someone who has lived /worked & been married to with people w/addiction & recovery issues. I think it's great you rescued Mr Girl & I hope you'll be happy together for a very long time...
