@littlemills77 it's actually the other guitarist jumping in with the same note plam muting, JB just starts off the song and then to give it the beefy sound your hearing is actually the other guitarist in same note...
merdian as an intro to a shot below the belt, that explains it. this song was originally supose to be a step down from standard tuning, on the CD, the did it in drop C. live it sounds like they use it as the lead into a shot below the belt, which is a step down from standard. it all makes sense now!
@littlemills77 its not a change in the tone of the guitar, they play something different. look up the tabs or any decent guitar cover.
