  • so cute i let my rats swim to sometimes for about 2 seconds ..dont listen to nothing negative their made to swim just as if they were in the wild they swim just be careful they don get water in the ears and dont drown lol

  • not in a rude way but your breathing creeped me out, but the rat is just a cutie! I got 6 rats 5 adults and 1 baby but they hate water.

  • @adsci well, i think you can offer the rats to swim, but you shouldn't just set them in,

and one problem with rats is (why you shouldn't at least take them out into nature) they have nearly a non-funtional immune system, and they easily suffer from lung diseases, so it can be kinda their death sentence.

  • it never stops fascinating me, that you can throw humans into the water as a prank and everyone laughs, but when you gently let a rat swim people scream animal mistreatment and sometimes even call for murder. we're a weird species.

  • @csberry1000 i want to try and teach mine that water is ok so that cleaning them is made a little bit less stressful. there is a video by oPuPo called how to introduce a pet rat to water. it has a picture of a white rat in a black tray (i cant put a link here for some reason )

  • poor defenseless animal :/

  • Aw!!! THAT TAIL!!!!! So cute!!!

  • @ddrhero apologies lol i did mean "Dry" NOT "Fry"

  • Aw. That's adorable. If the rat didn't like it, it wouldn't calmly sit by the water. My rat heard me turn on the sink once and she nearly burrowed herself into my neck. The rat is fine, it's a cute video.

  • cat: how fucking fantastic, come closer and let me see

  • thats just nasty. rats swimming in pool... they poop...

  • @Elizabethhhhhhhx also if you don't notice, the rat keeps trying to swim back to it's owners. But it doesn't have a chance to climb up their arms because they back off, and make it turn around and then it again, tries to swim back to the other owner and the other owner does the same.

  • @Elizabethhhhhhhx I don't understand 50% of your comment. Something tells you the rat will live? Of course it will survive swimming, rats are built to be able to swim. Let people enjoy their shit? And let it out on their rat I suppose you mean. Cause rats are after all only toys that are meant to be enjoyment for their owners right? That is a bit immoral. I'm sorry but that's my opinion. "Let us humans have our fun on the behalf of some helpless little creature" whatever your opinion.

  • What a BEAUTIFUL rat!

  • @MusicElskerLove When I put my rat into water and it didn't want it, when I picked her up, she was frantic and flew up my arm. Considering it just sat in the owners hands..something tells me the rat will live. You just need to quit spreading your damn negativity around and let people enjoy their shit.

  • @LivyDoo8258 some do not but however when i swim with my ratties, they absolutely love it 100%

  • looks like they were trying to find a way out of the water

  • How sweet

  • @ddrhero HAHAHAHAHAHA i'm dying

  • @pfalky2k you meant "Dry" right? Cause fryin rats ain't kosher. D and F are right together, easy mistake, one of them awful.

  • @ddrhero don't be down on folk for concern about animals. aye, these rats are happy & seem healthy. but too many verminous fuckheads think they can do anything they please to "their" pets. abusers, wheteher of animal, wife or child, want rounding up & gassing. aye, let the rats swim. it is natural behaviour. but you MUST then fry pet rats. unlike wild ones, pet rats have little or no immune system since they're bred from lab stock. NOT an "armchair vet" but a rat keeper

  • they clearly didn't love it, if you can't comprehend that then maybe you shouldn't have pet rats.

  • For the record, I can guarantee you 100% that they DON'T enjoy it
