"Our analysis indicated the biggest problem would be the fact that all the fuel (from the airplane) would dump into the building. There would be a horrendous fire. A lot of people would be killed," he said. "The building structure would still be there." [John Skilling, head structural engineer - WTC]

@stapledshut0908 The WTC was built to withstand a 707 impact at low speeds, not a 767 at full terrorist, nutbar, top speed. Fire insulation on the main support structure can be penetrated by a 400 mph object weighing over 250 thousand pounds. Have you ever seen how far a bucket of water spreads? Try that with a truckload of kerosene, it tends to spread down elevator shafts, other floors, etc. Your arguements have NEVER stood the test of time, or basic physics.
@1hotfred how about the fact that the towers were built with a plane crash of damn near that size in mind? and it was stated that they can withstand "several" impacts of that magnitude? also don't forget these buildings were hit roughly 100 stories up, now i'm not saying the plane crash did nothing, but how did it effect the structure 1,000 feet below it? 15 stories crushed 95 stories? I think not. The top of the building was made from the same material as the bottom!
@stapledshut0908 Might have something to do with the middle support structure of wtc being hit at 400+ mph, weighing over 250 thousand pounds, carrying between 15000- 22000 gallons of kerosene......How about that reason??? I will never figure out 911 truthers, logic and reason are thrown out he window for some reason.
This would simulate one floor of the Twin towers. We all know that "at least" one of the floors that fell could have very well been due to fire. That does not explain why the rest of the building crumbled under it. The fires were at least 70 stories away from the bass of the towers.

@chrstsldr It was never tested for the impact of a 400mph 767 jet, at an odd angle, with a truckload of kerosene on board..Your arguement is insane.

Was Bush seen running from the scene with a detonator and prima chord? I think Dan Rather has source from Amarillo Texas.

Yeah really, the intense heat of the fire weakened it and it collapsed. Arguably the same reason the WTC towers ended up collapsing.

fire cant melt steel...but it can weaken it to the point where it fails though
