I tested the flapping of the wings with the electronic mechanism with the controllers (see below). And the result is fantastic. It works! This means that I can fully control the wings with my arms now and can try flying soon.
Some time ago I connected the acceleration sensors of the HTC and Wii Remote (check video nr. 6 & 7). The next step was to send this acceleration data to my ESC's and outrunners.

@dmmalvasi Just got a tip from a guy called Tim: if you are able to check out the website of Dutch TV station AVROdotNL --> check out the episode 7 of tv programme 'Tomtesterom'. He builds one like the wright bros!
