1956 - GM Firebird 2 - Traffic Fantasy of 1976

Is that a 1956 GM FIrebird 2? "You Gotta Slow Down!" Gee Willikers! Those Jet-Age types of the 1950's sure thought the world of "The Jetson's" would happen sooner than later. Well, it's post-2010 and we're still stuck in traffic with a little more help from our GPS's and Google Maps and Bing Traffic on our mobile phones. But to think such change would occur by 1976 was pure hopeful fantasy - which makes these ephemeral films such a pleasure to watch! Sorry, this was all of this clip I was able to get. Is that a 1956 GM FIrebird 2?

In the fifties we had to read about The World in 1970. I remember the prediction that glass windows would be replaced by powerful currents of air. When we got to 1970, there were steel bars on the windows.
