hi this a vid showing people about the trouble i'm having with my computor. if i go to a search engine and type something for instance "www.youtube.com" it brings up a random page. If anyone has any idea on how i can stop or prevent this please reply. also, if you think you've got the same problem, leave me a message/comment/reply. sorry for the terrible quality.

  • @manthonyb thank you Ive been having this problem for a while now u saved me alot of money ,,,,,, make a vid or something

  • @manthonyb YOU ARE A GENIUS! Thank you so much for this information :-)

  • avg saves that dau

  • go to note pad. click on file and open: mycomputer/localC/ windows/system32/drivers/etc

once you get into the ETC folder change the Text Documents(*.txt) to All Files

Open the HOSTS file, delete everything and then youre done.

  • same problem....and my anti-virus scanners (such as malware bytes) cant scan it

  • i have the same problem too.... i have a recycler virus in my comp... do you have a solution to remove that????????? pm me.......

  • hi, this being caused by a virus, i had the same prob, i had a system update and when it finished it i scanned my pc and found a load of packed generic and busod trojans, so just do system scan, with any good scanner. Get a free one from ms site, this should fix it.

  • This can be fixed with Windows Defender (full scan) or Malwarebyte's anti-malware. (full scan) Or if ur smart use the regedit or task manager to find the .exe file and delete, but be careful. Let the software do it I recomend.
