NewsClip24.TV clip from the upcoming documentary double DVD. The Subdudes "Live AT The Rams Head,Unplugged At Pleasant Plains" www.biographicadocs.com www.newsclip24.tv
I sold them my 1973 powder blue ford ltd for 300 bucks and that's how that got from new orleans to colorado. always loved them still love them. i was so happy when they finally got the recognition they deserved. A beautiful group of guys and beautiful friends. Didn't know y'all made this documentary! love ya, Janny
Thanks! Very interesting. I used to hear these guys in Denver and at Jazzfest in the late 80's and early 90's,and actually got to know them some, but I never heard the story of how they got to be the Subdudes!
My bad "sound" I for one love the guy, but he played this at 14 years old. give props where props are due dude. I do like where you brought it, but sometimes peeps have heard that one?
I just ordered this DVD last night. Can't wait to get it! It was so interesting hearing how they came up with the name Subdudes. I had always wondered about that!
Great clip... "a little more subdued" indeed!! Always wondered how the boys got their name... and the rest is history... one of the best, and least commercially appreciated, groups out of New Orleans.. go see them live, they will get your ass out of your seat and dance, and they will touch your heart...
thank yuou for sharing the start of the Subdudes. I have been a fan for almost 20 years. I saw you down in SO CA and you torn that place apart. Its a small ventue and everyone sits at tables, it felt like we were all there to party with you all. your instraments were and continue to be amazing.
