@villasukat Big difference in being influenced and being a complete derivative. And yes The Cure was pretty fucking unique and original back then. They stood alone and you would be hard pressed to find any one who sounded like them. You need to le arn what influence really means, this is not it. This is derivative plan and simple. Like all the bands now that are tapping into every obscure genre of the 80's and 90's and just duplicating it perfectly. It's happening on every level right now.
