Here's a sequence from "The Flim-Flam Man" (as it was meant to be seen - in Panavision) with the musical score only as the soundtrack. The option to watch a film with the score only is sometimes an extra on high-end DVD collections. (Alas, if TFFM is ever released on DVD, I doubt there will be ANY extras... so we'll just have to make our own!) Hear all the subtle nuances and comic flair of Jerry Goldsmith's excellent score as it relates to the on-screen action it was composed for!
This is the "Pigeon Drop" sequence featuring Slim Pickens as Jarvis Bates. This footage was shot in Winchester, KY on September 8, 9, and 10, 1966.

At the very beginning of the clip, yes. The Valley View ferry crosses the Kentucky River between Fayette and Madison counties.
The city scenes, however, are in Winchester, KY.
