thats why it takes 150 more hp, 500lbs lighter, and a much larger engine to beat the GTR by .3s around the greatest test track of all time, the Nurburging. much more money, shitty interior, low build quality and nothing to show for it on the track? seems like a big waste of money to me. Plus GM is still in the shitter since our tax dollars are the only reason they arent in the grave yet. it's sad. i want to have faith in my home countries cars but i just can't. USA! why do we suck at making cars

Dont be mad that the ZR1 is a better car just get over it. Also chevy isnt the one voiding warranties left and right for going fast on the streets.

@Eddielovemuse90 too all vette fans here is reality--- did you hear the news about gm had to stop production? gm car company had to stop it's factory from production for a week because it couldn't parts from japan.high quality parts but one or more parts from Japan? so much for your #1 in your little world. there are good high chances that your gm car parts were probably from japan and if you don't like japan please rip your gm parts out from your car

@thebestman i'm not hating on the corvette, my dad has a 2005 ZO6, but i don't see why there putting it up against a car they know it will beat. It's like putting a body builder against a normal man. Why would you be proud when you win? They're picking on the GTR. I think the new GTR will kill the vette.

@boxchevyz28, yeah when the gtr had like 485 hp and compared to a zr1 638hp?it was a no fair comparison,not even in the close range of hp. only dumb people would compare a higher hp car to a lower hp car, and the results showed that high hp car wins. duh,we don't need to comparison that zr1 would win, when it has the highest hp.the first z06 had 32 extra hp/got squashed by gtr.it took gm 4 years late to figure how to be the gtr. vette would only win when it has 100hp or higher.zr1 is weak

This is funny. Do they know the GTR has a 6-cyl. engine, back seats, and costs 20k less? Sounds better to me. This is what pisses me off, Oh were americans, our cars go 200mph in a straight line! If it isn't a v8 its shit! I hate being american, were all ignorant and it sucks.
