@nootropicdesign y'all are fast! Cool, this project is really interesting. Sorry for my lack of knowledge, my only experience with video in circuitry is with the xgamestation "pico edition" (ie pure...ugly ASM on dedicated circuitry), I only saw the video game shield cursorily I thought it had it's own processor on it like the gameduino

Very cool shield!
Is it possible to get any color info from the incoming frames?
Thanks,
ao.

Hey are the graphics being generated on the arduino? Is it possible to use a board that generates its own video like the Video Game shield with this? Just curious

@benjaminshinobi The graphics are generated by the TVout library on the Arduino. That's how the video game shield works, too. The Arduino generates the graphics.

Can i capture a frame and send it by Ethernet using this ? Like Stacking a Ethernet shield ?

@marcelosouza Yes, you should be able to do that. I have not tried yet, but I did design the shield to be compatible with the Ethernet shield. That's why I used analog pin 2 -- the Ethernet shield uses analog pins 0 and 1.

no, with this simple hardware you can't read color info from the input signal, just relative brightness (which is adjustable).
