@E2ekiel555 the only reason i agree with you is because i'm educated on heroin and addiction. these parents obviously aren't and that can be a problem in itself.

@undeadpresident you can also thank the fda for allowing oxycontin to be put on the market and be so freely prescribed. i can't tell you how many people i know that are struggling with heroin addiction now.

that's really unfortunate about that young girl. heroin is definitely the drug of choice around connecticut and it all started with the oxycontin epidemic. 5 dollars in Hartford will get you one of those wax envelopes of heroin and the user never knows what to expect as far as potency is concerned. I believe recovery isn't for everyone. and with spikes in purity, that makes the use of this drug very dangerous.

Since docs don't prescribe OxyContin as much---they switch to H, because it's cheaper and easier to obtain. I guess the Mexican cartels know this, too.
