great commercial, absolutely stunning. But I got to say, if it hadn't been Friday, September 30th, 1955 that Jim died, it would have been Saturday, October 1.

I don't know how many times I've watched this. This is so haunting.. and heartbreaking. Watching him avoid the car crash and sigh pulls at my heart every time.
Feb 8th is right around the corner.. RIP JD

I read on some sites that the commercial was made with some very good look alikes, make up, CGI & a replica of the car. This is excellent!! I know I'm not the only one who imagines what James Dean would have accomplished had he lived.
What gets me though is people only remember James for the 3 great films he made. James did alot more than that & he was planning to focus on directing after finishing up those films. ::sigh:: Too bad he couldnt have lived...We still fight to get him an Oscar!

ok, so i realize now how they made the ending (his sigh of relief) look so real, its because it really is him, they took that part from Rebel Without A Cause, where they are at the star lab place and the kid slices his tire, James sighs and it is the exact same as in this commerical. +1 for me

muito bom
fica uma eterna duvida mesmo
como teria sido
tantas pessoas e tantos artistas
a vida é um misterio

argh..
my heart aches every time I see this, so much i think it's bleeding.
had you lived, you'd have become so great a man that history might've changed for you.

no.. much much more than Paul Newman.

HAH! My friend Loew the Jew made this ad. He works for Blackwell Media, he has long black hair, likes peanut butter and his adress is... wait im going overboard. Well done, Jew. 15 comments and not one of them negative.

i need to cry now. its so nice to see who he could have become.
so basically if James Dean had lived he would have become Paul Newman.
