Many thanks To Jeff Wharton & The Countdown production crew for donating this - Richard Whiteley gets stiched up good and proper in this hilarious unedited version of the Richard Whiteley Gotcha. Richard arrived for what he thought was a recording of a normal episode, how wrong he was - All copyright remains with Yorkshire Television - PLEASE COMMENT!

  • This is excellent, and one of my favourite clips on here. I remember when it first went out and though then how i'd love to see the unedited version!

    A real treat, thanks! :)

  • well i've got a lovely bunch of coconuts ! lol

  • Its Richard himself that makes this so funny-the penny just never dropped! Even Noel coming on with the gotcha he still wasn't sure! He really is a sad loss. The best on air gag was when Lional Blair was in dictionary corner with Damon Eadie. He said 'I've got legover for 7, can I have my 'legover?' and Damon says 'You can if you want but its not in the dictionary.' Good times.
