This is another solo performance in my basement studio, recorded between July 20th and 21st 2010. As you can see, I play all of the instruments and sing all of the vocals here. I still am incapable of getting myself in frame properly, and I should really clean the basement before attempting another one of these. However, all in all, I'm very pleased with how this turned out.

I started off with recording the drum part without a guide track. After that, I added several layers of guitars. Next was the bass. On the 21st, I added the keyboards / synthesizers, the guitar solo(s), and the vocals.

I wrote this song back in 1999 or 2000, so the lyrics don't have any particular significance at this point. The word "antidisestablishmentarianism" used to be in the lyrics, but I took it out nine years ago. Still, it makes for a great song title.

Instruments used:

Drums: Hacksaw's DW Drum Kit (Thank you, Mr. Saw!)
Guitars: Carvin Fatboy HF2 (Allan Holdsworth model), Parker NiteFly
Bass: Cort B5FL
Keyboards: Yamaha EX5, Yamaha CS1x, Arp Solus, Rhodes 73 electric piano, "Tapeworm" Mellotron VST
Vocals: My vocal cords

I hope that you enjoy this!
