Why the hell not? Its not like legalizing (it's illegal in Aus) euthanasia will suddenly give the government the right to chose who dies. The person chooses if they want to or not. If no one choses then who has it hurt?  And if someone does, it's made them happier. Who loses here? No one

Every time I hear anything about the world ending, I think about Donnie Darko and the scene with the therapist as she is calming Donnie down while he is talking about the end of the world/universe. She tells him "If the sky were to open up, there would only be you and your memories and nothing else..." This part really connected with me and I think it is really true. p.s. I typed this when they were talking about the meteor and the aliens and stuff.
