  • I've seen this post somewhere on YT before--sure it's in my favorites, just where this is going to go as well. Durn, he was higher than a kite, but the last song makes you shiver. He is - was the absolute best--RIP. You will never be replaced !!!!

    Thanks for the post----

  • The shirt was what called 'polished cotton'. It was the rage in '69 - '71.

  • Is that leather shirt or vinyl? LOL great video thx

  • I grew up listening to Waylon, like Johnny Cash, Willy Nelson, etc He has an unmistakable voice and style of playing guitar.

  • The last song is the best country song I ever heard by the best country singer.

  • @denisjl100 We have followed him from when he played a small club in Phoneix, Ar. Got to see him about three times. In concert with Willie and Jessie Colter in Cedar Rapids. I got to got back stage with my husband at the time and my girlfriend. When he politely shook my hand all I could do was stupidly stare at his hand and giggle like a young girl. I was so upset with myself ever since then. I love the man and his humor and music.

  • @dawnjakeleah same for me. i went to ottawa ontario. he played a place called the chamberlain room(long gone). this was just after he was in a movie called green river.

  • All I can say is... FABULOUS!!!!!

  • We lived in Calif. at one time and were at a club called the Palamido and saw Waylon when he looked like this. (In his early days). We had seats right up front. What a memory.

  • love the wah pedal on Loving Her Was Easier
